All SiC and Hybrid SiC Modules
In order to supply the increasing demand for applications with higher power density and efficiency, Fuji Electric has developed a range of hybrid SiC and All SiC modules. Hybrid SiC modules consist of a SiC based SBD (Schottky Barrier Diode) and Si based IGBT
(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor). With a line-up ranging from 1200 V to 1700 V, this series contributes to energy saving and miniaturization in various types of industrial equipment.
For applications with even higher demands, Fuji Electric is expanding its range of All SiC modules, which use our own developed 2nd generation SiC Trench MOSFETs. A very low RonA combined with very low switching losses enable applications with the highest level of efficiency.
Hybrid SiC and all SiC modules are most suitable for DC/DC converters, Wind and Photovoltaic power generation systems, as well as traction and automotive related applications.
